Public School Visits

Just like the Apostle Paul declared in I Corinthians “For a wide door for effective service has opened to me,”, we can say that God has opened a huge door for us in the local public school by the Dream Center. We able to go every Wednesday and lead a different grade in an actual Bible class. We play a little game with them, sing a few songs, then teach a Bible lesson to the students. This week’s lesson was about the miracle of Jesus when Peter and the fishermen’s nets were filled to overflowing. Isn’t that awesome? To know that each week we are able to plant seeds in the lives of these children who might otherwise never hear about the gospel. When I think of it, It actually makes me think about my husband, Pablo, when he was younger at a public school in Honduras. He was not a Christian, but different groups would visit and through those visits some small seeds were planted in his heart. Many years later, after lots of watering, he gave his life to the Lord. We never know when the harvest will come, but we do know that its not our job to bring it; its Gods. Its our job to plant and water.

I Corinthians 3:6 I planted the seed in your hearts, and Apollos watered it, but it was God who made it grow.
