When the Community Seeds Grant was announced, Oxivila received the news with gratitude. She shared that it felt like a blessing from God because she had been praying for help for a long time. For her, this was more than financial support—it was an answer to prayer in a season of need.
Oxivila worked for 23 years in a factory. Through years of hard work, she was able to purchase a small house in her hometown of Colinas, Santa Bárbara, using a work bonus she received. It was something she hoped would one day become a blessing for her family.

Today, that home is in poor condition. The roof is falling in, the doors need repair, and it is not safe or ready for anyone to live there. Even so, Oxivila has not given up hope. Little by little, she has tried to save money for repairs by selling items.
Her greatest desire is to make the house livable, so her parents can move in. Right now, they live in a difficult and unsafe situation with her brother, who suffered a brain injury after a car accident and can become aggressive at times. Oxivila longs to give them a peaceful and secure place to live.

She first came to the Dream Center during the pandemic after seeing children participating in activities and stopping to ask what was happening. That simple moment became the beginning of a connection, and she has now been involved with the ministry for the last four years.
More than anything, Oxivila hopes to use the Community Seeds Grant to restore the small home in Colinas and provide safety, dignity, and peace for her parents.
